Pilgrimage to Svenskt Tenn

I’ve been a Svenskt Tenn fan since I saw their graphic patterns by Josef Frank several years ago. I felt that they lived in their own world (one I wanted to be part of, so I’ve installed some of his wallpaper in our home), at first I didn’t know if they were old or new designs. This is a sign of great design to me, like Heath, you know it’s always going to be good.  So, being only 6 hours by train from Stockholm, we made the journey. Seeing the shop and all the objects and furniture together was a huge aesthetic inspiration. I’m now reading the book I purchased there about Svenskt Tenn’s founder Estrid Erikson, more later on her inspiration. For now a few pictures from the shop, and the the Josef Frank wallpaper in my hallway.
